Confidentiality commitment

Your information is entrusted to us for one task: your EIC Accelerator self-assessment.

What is protected

We treat non-public answers, uploaded documents, extracted source material and assessment findings as confidential. The commitment covers business, technical and financial information even where it is not marked confidential. Public website information remains public, but its inclusion in your assessment does not permit disclosure of your private responses.

A limited, explicit use

The operator may process your materials only to prepare, provide, explain, secure and support your assessment. It must not sell, publish, license or exploit them for other commercial activities, scientific research, competitor analysis, product development, training or evaluation of AI models, or assessments of other companies. Your separate permission for contact permits a discussion about your assessment, not broader reuse of its materials.

Necessary service processing

Restricted access by the designated administrator, hosting and storage services, OpenAI API processing and configured report email delivery is necessary to run the service. This is not a promise that no other organisation processes the data. These arrangements must be covered by appropriate confidentiality and data-processing terms before intake opens. The operator must not enable optional provider training or data sharing for this material.

Your ownership and control

You retain your rights in the materials. You grant only the limited permission needed to perform the requested service. Share only information you are authorised to disclose; remove unnecessary third-party personal data and highly sensitive secrets. You may request deletion or use the session’s privacy controls. The 30-day active-storage policy and provider-retention limitations are described in the privacy notice.

Limits and required disclosures

The confidentiality restriction does not cover information demonstrably public without a breach, already lawfully held without restriction, independently developed without using your materials, or lawfully received from an unrestricted source. If disclosure is legally required, it must be limited to what is required, with notice to you where legally permitted. Reasonable safeguards are required, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

This commitment forms part of the terms of use when accepted for an available service. It is not a separately negotiated or signed NDA. If your disclosure requires such an agreement, contact the operator before sharing it.
